I will be bringing both litter your way on the last weekend of this month to be evaluated by Virginia Alexander and some other friends. You can come out and pick up then or whatever is best for you.

Hi Bryan, I’m on the Dual Weim list and saw your post about the Grand Arrival of Cuda’s pups. Congrats!!! Looked at the puppy photos and boy what a nice big lteitr! I’m in SC and belong to the Greater Charleston Weim Club. We’ve had Weims since 1976. I’m a friend of Elena’s and also Pam Cherry. I saw where Pam did one of the pups tails .I’ve only assisted Elena with doing the lteitrs we’ve co-bred together. I’ve whelped a couple of lteitrs for Elena while she was out of the country. But, I have yet to get the nerve myself to do the clamp and the twist. I just hold them for her!!!! Prior to this tail twisting method, I took my lteitrs into my Vet that is a friend and she would clip them and I’d assist her. She breeds Dobes and she always did a great job with the length of the tails. She’s well know for cropping ears too, thank goodness the Weims don’t have that to endure ..Good luck with all those beautiful gray babies!!! Very nice pedigree also!Sincerely,Merry

I want to throw out a special thanks to some very special ladies. Virginia Alexander for helping me find so many wonderful homes and her continuous guidance. Louise Curtis for helping in a crazy time with 12 puppies in the shower of our horse trailer and my Mom and I in dire need of some sleep. My Mom for all of her help in Ardmore. And lastly my wife Celeste for doing such a great job with these puppies getting them ready to go to their new homes. Confident, trusting and well socialized puppies is what we are all about…thanks baby.

We’ve been doing alot of research on a weim pup. I noticed that you live in Midland. So did I in Junior High and High School (Midland High ’89). My parents moved away in ’98. Once you live in place that is that flat with no trees you feel an automatic kinship with anyone else who had to! My husband and I with our 2 children live in Edmond, Ok now. We had a ‘beauty queen’ of a Weim that was shown a couple of times and did well but was really just a family pet. She passed away 6 years ago and now we are interested in another more inclined to hunt but still a pretty dog.
I have talked to Jeri with Kasamar’s but her last litter of pups were a bit old by the time I got in contact with her. We don’t want to miss out on the full puppiness and blue eyes. I have seen Holly’s pup announcement and hope to hear from her soon. Her # makes me think that she lives in the Dallas/Fort worth area where my parents live now. My Dad’s name is Ken Tomlinson and does field trials with German Shorthairs now. Maybe you knew him or even me way back when.
If you know of any litters that might be what we are looking for now or in the future would you let me know? We would really prefer not to put a pup on a plane.

Oh, and would you eat at Rosa’s for me?

    Thanks,
    Kendra Ashbaker

Sorry I am so late to reply, I dont have any litters planned myself right now but I will keep you in mind on any I am aware of. Holly’s litter was just right for what you were talking about though…great field with very solid confirmation as well. I will most likely not breed again until next year. If you want me to let you know when, I will sure do so. I recently moved from Midland to Weatherford and dont miss the dirt and the wind and we have a Rosas but I do miss Jumburrito LOL
